Oath's community guideline: Safety and respect for all

Please take a minute to read this

We believe that this is not your case, but it is important to remember that any discriminatory practice will not be tolerated, whether based on sex, origin, race, color, marital status or age.

Respect all kinds of doubts and levels of knowledge. After all, the user may not have had the same experience as you and this opportunity is very valuable for him or her.

We believe everyone should feel supported and have a smooth experience.

Therefore, we follow rules that deal with violence and harassment, rude and threatening behavior, discrimination and moral damages.

Try to practice a form of communication that conveys tranquility.

Non-Violent Communication (NVC) represents verbal (written or spoken) and non-verbal (gestures, facial or body expressions, images or codes) communication skills that seek to create compassion and empathy to strengthen human connections.

Oath prohibits any form of violence and harassment. Violence and sexual misconduct refers to sexual contact or behavior without the explicit consent of the other person.

Everyone should have their privacy and personal space preserved.

Behaviors and comments that may make other people feel uncomfortable are unacceptable. Flirting is inappropriate and will not be allowed.

Some conversations that seem to be harmless can be offensive. Avoid making comments about appearance, accent, gender identity and sexual orientation.

Oath prohibits aggressive, confrontational and harassing behavior. Do not use disrespectful, threatening or inappropriate words or gestures. We recommend avoiding potentially controversial personal opinions, such as those related to religion and politics.

Communication must end when the online service ends (via video, audio or chat), unless there is a legitimate reason. For example, it is not allowed to send messages (via sms, whatsapp or email), contact via social networks, or call a person after completing this service.

Treat everyone with respect.

The Oath platform reserves the right to remove anyone who does not comply with the above conduct from the platform.

If you commit harassment, racism, LGBTphobia or any other type of violence in consultations made through our platform, Oath is not for you.

If you make jokes about someone's color/race and think that respect for others should only happen when others are just like you, you already know, right? That's right, Oath is not for you.
